Passing wheat field
A pair of prints capturing views of hedgerows and field.
Just one print left (first and second images)
Screen printed by hand on to Snowdon 300 gsm matt cartridge.
Paper size A1
Printed area approx. 75 x 48cm
Signed in pencil.
This is part of a series of prints that were born out of a recent commission based on the canal, its boats and riverside views. I've taken much of the inspiration from our local river Lea in Hackney, recent boat trips and woodland walks.
A four colour multilayered print using the positive and negative shapes of paper stencils
Printed with translucent fabric inks so there is a fluctuation in the surface colours and application which adds unexpected, beautifully fluid, textures and tones to the overall print.
Some of the stencils may be repeated but no two prints are the same.
The paper does have a slight wobble to it because of this which can be highlighted by suspending in a box frame or simple wooden hangers.
Packaged in newsprint and rolled into a strong cardboard tube.
It's recommended to remove from the tube as soon as possible and flatten out with a board and heavyweight before framing/hanging.
